Kenneth Buck (right) spoke to the Auburn Lions Club on March 8 about The Miracle League. The Opelika Lions Club built The Miracle Field in 2007 and an adjacent playground in 2008. The Miracle Field and its accompanying playground are devoted to providing a baseball and play experience to handicapped children. In the last few years participation has grown from around twenty children to over two hundred. Still needed are coaches for the teams, buddies for the players and fans to encourage the players. Also needed are donations and team sponsors. The players participate free of charge and have a wonderful experience. Pictured with Buck is Auburn Club Vice-President Keith Ryland.
