The O-A News is concerned with covering East Alabama, especially Lee County and Opelika and Auburn. It is dedicated to providing as full coverage (both good and bad news) as possible and to providing good distribution of its newspapers, both to racks and to homes. Present circulation is around 12,000 daily and around 13,000 on Sundays. Advertising is a major component of its income and the internet is a major competitor.
