Lion Joe Yeager Recognized for his Exemplary Service

20160718JoeYeagerOn July 18 at Monarch Estates, Lion Joe Yeager was recognized for outstanding service to the Auburn Lions Club and the Auburn Community. He joined the club in 1952, served as President in 1958-59, served also as Secretary forĀ over 20 years, received Lionism’s highest award, the Melvin Jones Fellowship, in 1992, and wrote a history of the Auburn Club in 2003. He received a plaque recognizing his many activities in community affairs as a Lion. Present (among others) were (left to right) Bob Reknor, Katherine Vives, Tom Cooper, Club President Keith Ryland, Aldonah Petrenas-Mann, Joe Yeager, Arvle Marshall, Bob Jonson, George Kent, Henry Helmke, and Randy Smith.
